Caran d'Ache Neopastel is a waterproof, genuine oil pastel of the highest artist quality.
Suitable for paper and many different materials, such as canvas, wood, and glass, it contains few fillers and is exceptionally highly pigmented, which gives brilliant, opaque colors—even in thin layers.
The pastels have a soft and velvety texture that does not crumble and can be dissolved in white spirit.
Each pastel is round-shaped, measuring 10 mm x 68 mm, and features color identification numbers and lightfastness ratings.
With extra-fine pigments and inert oil, Caran d'Ache Neopastel allows for flexible techniques, including blending, shading, and "fingerwork," on numerous media.
